This is a review I have been wanting to write for a while, because the Coco and Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam has been pretty much the only fake tan I have used in over a year. I absolutely love it! Here’s what you need to know.

My Review of Coco and Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam
I have used every colour available in this self tan and I have to say, I love them all. Because I am super fair, each one makes a really good difference on me.
I think my favourite is the Ultra Dark because it’s not crazy dark, but gives a really good intense tan that still looks natural and lasts a long time.
Coco and Eve is pretty much the only fake tan I have used for well over a year, and it just seems to tick all the boxes for me right now. I am always on the hunt for the perfect fake tan, so I will always try others, but right now, this is certainly up there with the best.
How do you use Coco and Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam?
This tan is really easy to use. It’s a soft and creamy foam that spreads and melts into the skin really easily. I like to apply it on slightly damp skin as I feel that this really helps it to sink into the skin more flawlessly.
The colour guide makes it really easy to ensure you are getting an even application. If I want a deeper tan, I apply a second coat straight on top of the first.
I just let it dry for a few minutes and then get dressed into dark clothes and allow it to marinate! I leave it on as long as possible, because tan takes a while to take on my super white/pale grey skin, before washing off the colour guide.
Does it smell?
I never really notice the smell of this. It has a nice fruity scent as you apply it which fade pretty quickly. With self-tan, a biscuit smell can kick in when the DHA (tanning agent) starts to turn, but I don’t notice that with the Coco and Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam. Always a bonus!
How long does it take Coco and Eve Self Tanner to dry?
The foam dries really quickly and I find I can get dressed (dark coloured clothes because of the colour guide) after a few minutes.
How long does Coco and Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam last?
I find that a fresh tan will last a good week before I feel the need to top it up. It also fades nice and easily, so you can do another application without the need to completely scrub off and start again every single time.
I do recommend a proper scrub off every couple of weeks for the best tan results. I tan all year round, this is essential if you want to avoid any patchiness.
How long does it take to develop?
The product instructions suggest that the tan develops in two hours but this isn’t enough for me. The skin on my body is very white and every tan I have ever used needs longer to take than the recommended time. Ideally I leave this on overnight or for a full days for a deep tan.
What shade of Coco and Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam should you use?
I have used every shade from Medium to Ultra Dark and they all give a gorgeous colour. Because I like to be brown, I like the Ultra Dark the best but actually the Medium gives a gorgeous colour too. They all look really even and natural, so it’s just done to a matter of preference.
I never use tan on my face and prefer to stick to bronzer. Check out my Best Bronzers post
